Agreement to terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Kaamlo.in websites, mobile applications, and related services (the “Services”) operated by Kaamlo.in (“Kaamlo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, browsing listings, posting jobs, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Services on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and “you” includes the organisation.

Eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a contract in India and meet any minimum age requirements applicable in your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate registration information. We may refuse service or close accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or non-compliant.

Accounts & security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use. We may use email OTP or other verification methods to protect accounts.

Job seekers

As a job seeker you agree to:

  • Provide truthful profile, experience, and application information.
  • Upload resumes and documents you have the right to share.
  • Use applications and messaging professionally and respectfully.
  • Understand that employers make independent hiring decisions; Kaamlo does not guarantee interviews or offers.

Employers

As an employer or recruiter you agree to:

  • Represent your organisation accurately and only post genuine openings.
  • Comply with applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and data-protection laws when handling candidate data.
  • Not misuse candidate information for unrelated marketing or resale.
  • Pay any fees associated with paid plans according to the pricing terms presented at purchase.

User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (profiles, listings, messages). You grant Kaamlo a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, process, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Services. You represent that your content does not infringe third-party rights or violate law.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Post false, misleading, discriminatory, or illegal job or profile content.
  • Harass, threaten, spam, or impersonate others.
  • Scrape, overload, or attempt to breach security of the Services.
  • Introduce malware or interfere with other users’ access.
  • Use the Services for pyramid schemes, unlicensed recruitment fees to seekers where prohibited, or other exploitative practices.

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or cooperate with authorities when appropriate.

Intellectual property

The Kaamlo name, logo, UI, and original materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you. Do not use our branding without prior written permission.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We strive for reliability but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Listings and profiles are supplied by users; Kaamlo does not endorse every employer or candidate. Always verify critical information independently.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kaamlo and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve months before the claim or (b) INR 5,000, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Kaamlo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk, or legal requirements. Provisions that by nature should survive (including liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact support first to resolve concerns informally.
